Our Staff

Dr. Shergill has been serving children of the Alle Kiski since 2002. He is director of the Department of Pediatrics at Alle Kiski Medical Center.  Before joining AKMC he was at The Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in the department of Pediatric Infectious diseases. Dr. Shergill completed his residency in pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and then stayed on as chief resident of pediatrics. Prior to this, Dr. Shergill did his medical training in his native country of England at the Royal Post-graduate Medical School and the University of London. Dr. Shergill enjoys being involved in the local community, including giving talks on childhood obesity, nutrition and newborn issues, and holding an annual health camp for children. Dr. Shergill is married and has two children.
